Terms of Service

By accessing or using MyLaxList ("we," "our," or "us") at mylaxlist.com (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including parents and guardians creating accounts on behalf of minor athletes.

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 13, you may not create an account or use the Service.

If you are between the ages of 13 and 17, you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy on your behalf, and consents to your use of the Service.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to create and manage accounts jointly with their minor athlete. By creating an account, you confirm that either (a) you are 18 or older, or (b) a parent or guardian has provided consent for your use of the Service.

MyLaxList is a college lacrosse recruiting research tool that helps athletes and their families identify and evaluate college programs based on athletic fit, academic fit, cost, and lifestyle preferences. The Service provides informational match scores and rankings based on self-reported athlete profile data and publicly available school data.

MyLaxList is not a recruiting service and does not represent athletes to colleges or universities. All match scores and fit ratings are estimates based on available data and should be used as a starting point for research, not as a definitive evaluation of any athlete's college prospects.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at admin@mylaxlist.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating your account and profile. You may update your profile information at any time.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the Service without our written permission
• Impersonate another person or entity
• Submit false or misleading profile information intended to manipulate match scores

We strive to maintain accurate school and program data, but we make no warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information displayed on the Service. School rosters, academic statistics, financial aid data, and program information change frequently. Always verify information directly with the college or university before making decisions.

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MyLaxList and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any portion of the Service without our express written consent.

Profile data you enter remains yours. By submitting it, you grant us a limited license to use it solely to provide and improve the Service.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please review it to understand our practices.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that match scores or fit ratings will result in any particular recruiting outcome.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyLaxList shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (if any).

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.
